Hello everyone,

I pray all are well.  Things are good here in Germany with my two girls son in law and Nate.  We took yesterday off from our travels and spent the day just doing laundry etc.  I am trying still to navigate this blog page and I am really having difficulty figuring out how to post pictures on this blog.  Wartburg Castle and Eisenach were all I had hoped they would be. We spent a good deal of time in the city and at the castle and I truly enjoyed our stay there.  We all enjoyed it and expecailly Joy who recalls singing in the great hall at Wartburg Castle while on tour with the Wartburg College choir fa few years ago and we also toured the home//museum honoring one of Eisenach other favorite sons a little music guy by the name of J. S. Bach.

Now to try and add some pictures.  I do this blogging at night when the girls are asleep and besides asking my girls for this tech stuff just fuels the fire that dad is inept and I know I can figure this out.  Maybe?  LOL
Ok this is all I can find.  I will wait till the girls wake up and try and send some more.  Pax,  PK

Recent update!

Hello Everyone,
I am not to proud to say that I left my charging cord in Edinburugh Scotland and it has taken me some time to get a suitable replacement to charge this computer and start making posts again. Sorry everyone. Scotland was a tremendous trip and I will remember it forever.

Tomorrow Joy shows up so I will have both my girls and I couldn't be happier about that.  :)  As soon as Joy arrives, literally we will board a train and head north.  Luther sites here we come.  I have had a few days to just get back to a mode of operation and be Grandpa for Lukas taking him to school and just loving him with all I have.  He is adorable! Here is one picture I promise to  get more on here soon.  This is Eileen Donan Castle and it was basically in the town we stayed in for a good week!  I spent a few nights chatting with locals at the local pub and that was a real treat.  The people along with the beauty in the area made Scotland a very wonderful trip and I recommend it for all who can get there.

Arrived yesterday in Dornie, Scotland.  Beautiful cottage rented On Long Loch.  This is an amazingly beautiful place.  Out our front door is the Loch and our our back door are sheep grazing on the very step hills that surround us.  I a trying to post some pictures here but my skill set is not the greatest.  I will ask daughter Lauren to help me if I get stuck.  In the mean time, trust me tis a beautiful place! We can walk to the Eilean Donan Castle! The photos in order are #1 Cottage; #2.View out the front of cottage; #3 Dornie, Scotland,View of Village from Bridge; #4.Eilean Dolan Castle These were all taken with my I phone.  The weather is as one might expect on the North Atlantic coast this far north!

It continues to be unseasonably warm here in Germany;90 degrees and humid.  I am still having difficulty figuring out the best way to place pictures on this page.  I will get it down soon and have the system in place for sure once I start touring the Luther sites.  For these first few days I am spending as much time as I can being Grandpa to Lukas and working at adjusting to the new time zone. I am ok until about 3 or 4 am and then I wake up and I mean really wake up!

The next ten days Lauren, Nate, Lukas and Me are going on a Holiday and we are vowing, each of us, to try and disconnect.  So you may not hear from me for a while but know I am OK!

I could get use to this view while I make my daily run!  A little more hilly than Woodstock and it is hot and humid!

Morning walk to the Bakery in the little little Village that Lukas
and family live in, I found the church!  Date on the side of this little Church is 1488!
Gutten abend!  I am here at Lukas's home.  Oh yea Lukas's parents are here too!  I am tired did not sleep much on the long flight so I am going to hit the hey this evening fairly early. Why do I feel like a head of cattle when ever I fly anymore.  I was packed between two gents on the 7.5 hour flight and it was not to comfy.  I am seriously thinking of an upgrade on the return flight.
Well tomorrow begins the time with Lukas and I am going to soak him up every moment he is awake!
Love to all, Remember God Loves you and so do I!
